Author Therese Ann Fowler at Ferguson Library on Oct. 22

The Ferguson Library will host an evening of food, wine, and conversation with Therese Ann Fowler, author of "A Well-Behaved Woman: A Story of the Vanderbilts," on Monday, October 22. The evening begins with a reception at 6:30 p.m. A book sale and signing will follow the program.
 
Best known for the New York Times bestselling novel "Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald," the author’s new book, "A Well-Behaved Woman," is the dramatic and compelling Gilded Age tale of Alva Smith, the young woman who married William K. Vanderbilt and launched the Vanderbilt dynasty as we know it today.

Tickets are $15 and include a wine and appetizer reception. Proceeds will benefit the Library. To register, click here.
