A Grand Summer Night Dine-Around in Stamford, Aug. 14

STAMFORD DOWNTOWN, CT - More than 300 people are anticipated to gather in Stamford Downtown on Wednesday, August 14 for A Grand Summer Night. The evening, hosted by the Friends of Stamford Downtown, was created to provide the perfect opportunity to experience the delectable cuisine of Stamford Downtown. The annual dinner will start with a grand reception at the University of Connecticut will feature sumptuous hors d’oeuvres and cocktails from Bar Rosso, Barcelona Wine Bar, Bedford Hall Craft Kitchen & Bar, The Cakery, FIN II Japanese Restaurant, Kouzina Greek Taverna & Bar, Villa Italia Ristorante & Bar, DiMare Pastry Shop, and Triangles Eats.

Immediately following the reception patrons will dine at downtown restaurants of their choice.  Participating restaurants include Bar Rosso, Barcelona Wine Bar, Blackstones Steakhouse, The Capital Grille, Cask Republic, Columbus Park Trattoria, FISH Restaurant + Bar, Flinders Lane, Hudson Social, Kashi Sushi Lounge, Kouzina Greek Taverna & Bar, Quattro Pazzi,  Villa Italia Ristorante & Bar and ZAZA Italian Gastrobar.

The Friends of Stamford Downtown are a dynamic group of Stamford women who are dedicated to ensuring that Stamford Downtown is a destination for the arts.  Net proceeds from A Grand Summer Night help to defray the costs of significant Downtown art exhibits in Stamford Downtown.
