Half Full Oktoberfest Sept. 27 & 28

STAMFORD, Conn. – Half Full Brewery, Connecticut’s hoptimistic local brewery since 2012, expands their highly successful Oktoberfest In The Park event into a two-day extravaganza. Beginning this Friday, September 27 from 4-9 p.m. ET and continuing Saturday, September 28 from 2-9 p.m. ET event attendees can enjoy Oktoberfest-style beer, live music, food and activities. 

Single day and group tickets are still available for the event held on the North Lawn and Grand Steps of Mill River Park in downtown Stamford, Conn. A ticket includes entry into the event and a free beer ticket. Half Full beers on tap include Bright, Pursuit, Oktoberfest, Pumpkin and Mango Supernova. In addition to a true beer garden setup, this year’s Oktoberfest In The Park will include keg tossing and rolling competitions, as well as an axe-throwing experience.

“After the success of last year’s event we are excited to make Oktoberfest In The Park even bigger and better this year,” said Conor Horrigan, Founder & Chief Hoptimist at Half Full Brewery. “As with all of our events and activities, Half Full’s goal is to bring the Stamford community together through authentic, exciting activities set in unique locations.”

The lineup of live music features a variety of local and regional acts including: The Good Morning Nags, Pat Stone and The Dirty Boots, The Polkateers, Pocket Full of Soul, Funkrust Brass Brand, and Dr. Zsa's Powdered Zydeco Band. On-site food trucks include: Coalhouse, Donut Crazy, Hapa, Smokehouse Trailer, Jefe's Tacos, Cousins Maine Lobster and Crazy Taco.
