The Avon Theatre conducts SPRING FOOD DRIVE through March 6 - 27 in Stamford

The Avon Theatre is teaming up with P2P to conduct a Spring Food Drive! All are welcome to participate by dropping off canned and non-perishable food items at the movie theatre. Moviegoers can deliver items when coming to enjoy a film, or anyone can drop off items any day of the week during showtimes (Monday-Friday from 6 pm-10 pm and Saturday-Sunday from 3 pm-10 pm). Donations will be delivered to P2P.

The most needed food pantry items are:
- Hearty Soups
- Pasta & Sauce
- Peanut Butter & Jelly
- Canned Tuna & Chicken
- Dried & Canned Beans
- Cold Cereal & Oatmeal

Person-to-Person (P2P) is a non-profit agency dedicated to providing individuals and families with essential resources to help them overcome daily challenges and put them on a path toward economic stability. Food insecurity in the state has more than doubled to 23% since the start of the pandemic.
