The Stamford Art Association presents "Spring 2021"

The Stamford Art Association’s first juried exhibition of the year spotlighting interpretive images of Springtime in 2021 March 27 –April 24, 2021

Opening: Saturday, March 27, 4 pm Hours: Open Virtually

The Stamford Art Association will present "Spring 2021" a juried multi-artist exhibition featuring artwork of all different mediums. The artwork was selected by the juror, Lina Morielli, Stamford Mayor's Gallery curator, multimedia artist and arts activist.

The Stamford Art Association began in 1971 when 24 local artists created the Association and Townhouse Gallery to showcase regional and community-based artists. We thank you for your support over the years and your ongoing creativity, inspiration, and impact. We look forward to celebrating our 50th year with more community outreach, partnerships, and our gallery spaces' reopening, as well as the inauguration of our garden art space.

The Stamford Art Association is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose members include painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers and multimedia artists. In its 50th year, our mission as an arts organization is to provide a forum where emerging and professional artists can exhibit their work to the community and compete in juried shows.

We host an international exhibit yearly, the Faber Birren Color Award Show, and a High School Student Show for Fairfield County students. We also sponsor the ongoing "Art at the Ferguson" art exhibits at the Ferguson Library gallery space. The Stamford Art Association is supported by grants from the Connecticut Commission on the Arts, the City of Stamford and the Kuriansky Foundation and generous donations from individual artists and friends.

The SAA Townhouse Gallery will reopen every Thursday/Friday from 11 am to 3 pm and Saturday/Sunday from Noon to 3 pm when the pandemic ends and until then all exhibitions are virtual.

Admission is free.
