The event is a themed fundraiser to support NPT’s summer production of Footloose and includes make-your-own ice cream sundaes, a silent auction and a benefit concert featuring songs about dancing and feet performed by Broadway and local “stars”.  Tickets are $35, available for purchase online or at the door. CDC safety guidelines will be followed and everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket or portable lawn chair for comfort.

“The pandemic forced us to cancel our production and Gala last year, but NPT was built to hover. We did everything we could to survive with online shows and educational offerings, and now we are excited to return to a live and innovative show. Footloose is about overcoming censorship and oppression—and as a community, our need to celebrate joy is greater than ever.” — Kristin Huffman, Producing Artistic Director, NPT.

Hosted by Emmy Nominee Scott Bryce and Barbara Distinti, the concert features local star performers including, Maureen Hamill, Chris Coogan, Christian Cardozo, J. Clayton Winters, Michael Lepore, Katherine Griffin, Blanca Grande, and favorite NPT Broadway performers Janelle, Robinson, Jamie Karen, Randye Kaye, Kristin Huffman and Gwendolyn Jones.   NPT youth will provide a sneak-peak into this summer’s production by performing with Erika Spondike (“Rusty”) and Raul Calderon (“Willard”)  as they sing songs from Footloose.

All CDC guidelines will be observed concerning masks, social distancing and other safety protocols.
