Stamford Day on Sunday, May 16 Celebrates the Rich History and Cultures of Stamford!

Please join the Mayor’s Multicultural Council of Stamford and The Mill River Collaborative for “STAMFORD DAY” on May 16, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Mill River Park. 

"STAMFORD DAY" is a celebration of Stamford’s history and diversity. Stamford was founded on May 16th, 1641, 380 years ago and has grown into one of the most diverse cities in the country. We will be celebrating the rich history and cultures of Stamford through, art quilt project for children and teens, music, dance, history hunt, prizes and more. There will be food trucks for people to purchase food.

We’ll have a resource table for you to share information about your organization. In addition, please bring a copy of a photo of your organization which can be part of a photo display on our event banner. The photo should be less than 18" high, but it can be longer. We will tape photos to the banner and keep them for the future.

There will be free parking at UConn parking lot (1194 Washington Blvd) and Food Trucks (food to be purchased) Thanks again for your participation and support!
