Phase 2 of Connecticut’s reopening begins on June 17
Phase 2 businesses include:
- Amusement parks.
- Hotels / Lodging.
- Restaurants.
- Indoor Museums, zoos, and aquariums.
- Indoor recreation (bowling, movie theaters).
- Libraries.
- Outdoor events.
- Personal services (nail salons, massage parlors, tattoo parlors, etc.).
- Sports and fitness facilities (gyms, fitness centers, pools, etc.).
Businesses reopening must self-certify prior to opening. Businesses that self-certified during Phase 1 will NOT need to certify again during Phase 2.Community:
Stamford Recreation has a full list of summer camps that are available for those who are returning to work this summer and need childcare assistance.
Stamford Recreation is putting together their summer sports leagues and those dates will be announced during phase 2 of Stamford Reopening.

The City will host a mask distribution event on Saturday, June 13th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cloonan Middle School, 11 W North Street.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, the 2020 Census will continue through October 31st, 2020.
Residents can respond online, by phone, or by mail. Residents can fill out their census information online by visiting https://2020census.gov/ or by calling 844-330-2020
Census Takers will be visiting neighborhoods to assist with responses following the guidance of federal, state, and local health authorities.
