The Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk, Inc. (JLSN) will host its tenth annual spring tag sale on Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 9am – 2pm at the JLSN Headquarters: 748 Post Road, Darien.
Early bird shopping will take place from 8am – 9 am for a $10 early entrance fee.
Each year, JLSN presents a spring tag sale as a way to provide team building and training for new members while also fundraising for community projects. Since 2013, the League has placed an emphasis on increasing childhood literacy rates. That fall, they began hosting Family Literacy Nights for children in Stamford’s South End and their parents. Junior League volunteers practice reading skills with the children while their parents meet with teachers and learn how to navigate the education system advocate for their child’s education. All participants are sent home with books for their home libraries. A book drive and additional expansion plans are in development.
This season’s sale will provide Fairfield County families with great deals on a variety of high quality clothing, accessories, books, toys, sporting goods, small electronics and much more.
