RA Students Graduate, Begin Secondary School Journey

It is Ridgefield Academy’s commitment to helping every Grade 8 student find the right secondary school as the next step in his or her educational journey. When students enter Grade 6, the process begins with the Head of School and Head of the Upper School leading each family through a sequence of steps to plan, investigate and consider a range of high school options.

To further this process, RA hosts one of the most comprehensive Secondary School Placement events in Fairfield County, offers trips to boarding and day schools to interested students and, once in eighth grade, holds weekly meetings with the Head of the Upper School to ensure a seamless and guided process for success. That is RA’s commitment to every student.

This fall, RA students will attend a wide range of fine secondary schools and were admitted to an even broader range of schools, from which they had the luxury of choosing. It is with great pleasure that we announce where the Class of 2019 will be heading in September.
