LiveGirl and Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk Partner to Launch New High School Leadership Program

LiveGirl and the Junior League of Stamford-Norwalk (JLSN) are thrilled to announce the launch of a new leadership program for high school women. The LiveGirl League is an eight-week program that creates change agents and leaders ready to make a positive impact in their community.

LiveGirl Founder & CEO Sheri West explained, “We are on a mission to build confident leaders and close the female leadership gap.” West continued, “JLSN is an ideal partner for us to launch our new program, the LiveGirl League, that will include collaborative teamwork and professional networking.”

JLSN President Elizabeth Kitts stated, “Every three years, JLSN selects a community partner to amplify impact. We are thrilled to partner with LiveGirl to empower high school girls in Fairfield County.” Kitts added, “Our members will have an opportunity to serve as ‘Confidence Coaches’ for the program, leveraging their professional expertise to help prepare the next generation of female leaders.”

The LiveGirl League will be offered in two locations this fall (UConn-Stamford, New Canaan) and will expand in spring 2020. For more information, visit www.goLiveGirl.org/livegirl-league.
