We invite you to help us recognize outstanding Stamford residents who devote their time for the benefit of the Stamford Community for United Way's 22nd Stamford Volunteer Day Awards. Please take a few moments to nominate a volunteer, a corporate volunteer group, a couple or a family whose hard work and dedication deserves official and public recognition. Stamford Volunteer Day Awards will be presented in the following divisions:
A selection committee will review the nominations on the basis of achievement, commitment to the Stamford community, caring, and creativity. You can find the nomination form online at uwwesternct.org/stamfordvolunteerdayawardsnominationform Awards will be presented at a special breakfast reception that will be held at 9 am on Friday, March 27, 2020, at the Harry Bennett Branch of the Ferguson Library, 115 Vine Road, Stamford.
Please submit your nominations to United Way by Friday, January 31. Please fill out the forms completely so that we have the contact information we need to notify you and the nominee--we will notify award winners by telephone or email after the selection committee has met. We look forward to celebrating Stamford's exceptional volunteers with you in March. |
