COVID Testing on Friday, High School Testing Site to Close, Public School Webinar, Mask Giveaway, Food Drive

The City will host a pop-up COVID-19 testing site at Building One Community (75 Selleck Street) on Friday, June 8 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Stamford High School Testing Site will close Friday, June 5th. A new testing site will replace it: 30 Buxton Farms Road. Operated by Murphy Medical Associates. Open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 203.658.6051 or go online to schedule an appointment.

The City of Stamford will host the following mask giveaways this week: Thursday, June 4 at Rippowam Middle School (381 High Ridge Road) from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Stamford Girl Scouts will host a drive-thru/drop off food drive on Saturday, June 6th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Glenbrook Station, 2 Crescent Street.

School Update

Stamford Public Schools will host a Parent Pop-Up Webinar to aid in discussions surrounding recent acts of racism and violence on Friday, June 5th at 5:00 p.m. A link to attend will be shared within the coming week.

Stamford Public Schools is sponsoring a Kinsa Digital Thermometer giveaway for all SPS families who are Free or Reduced Lunch participants. Each eligible family can pick up one free thermometer at the Nathan Wider Community Center, 137 Henry Street, between the hours of 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, June 5th; Monday, June 8th; Wednesday, June 10th or Friday, June 12th.
