Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons City Update: Small Biz Grants, Honor and Remember Flag, and More!

Small Business Grants: Yesterday, Director of Economic Development, Leah Kagan, and I announced the 176 recipients of the City of Stamford’s Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grants. Of those awarded, 120 are minority or women-owned, including 34 Hispanic-owned businesses. Each recipient will receive a grant of $8,063.99. Congratulations to all of the recipients and I look forward to visiting many of them in the coming weeks and months!

Honor and Remember Flag: This week I was honored to join community members and Stamford Veterans to raise the Honor and Remember Flag in Veterans Park. This flag pays tribute to the selfless men and women who have bravely served our nation and given the ultimate sacrifice.
