Why Small Businesses Matter in Stamford: Six Thirteen

Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Six Thirteen!

Three questions with Glenn Karow, General Manager at Six Thirteen.

Why did you start your business?

We started the business to benefit the community! We are a modern American kosher bistro - Orthodox Union certified kosher.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business: I wish I could...

I wish we could be the best restaurant in the country that happens to be kosher!

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

We use First County Bank, Stop n Shop, Fairway Market. We also partner with other restaurants and hotels to supply kosher meals.

Six Thirteen is located at 108 Prospect Street in Stamford. Visit them online here.
