Three questions with Darron Ellis Copeland, owner of Graphique Couture, LLC.
Why did you start your business?
After a successful career (over 25 years) working in corporate America as a consultant, I wanted to create a design business that was different then anything else in the area. Graphique Couture LLC offers everything from event planning, photo retouch, video editing, branding strategy and logo production as well as motion graphics and animation. We even can produce custom art pieces. I decided that my business acumen paired with my graphic design skills could yield a really unique service offering to my clients. My design concepts are sometimes quirky but always unique. There really is no limit to the types of design services Graphique Couture LLC can offer a prospective customer.
I wish I could expand awareness about our animation and 3D modeling services. Three years ago we began obtaining expertise in photorealistic imagery generation and scene/character modeling. We can animate a company’s logo or create a personal avatar profile image to enhance any web-based application or Youtube channel video. Our production side of the business can also create special effects for videos or movies.
Currently, our best selling service has been our branding strategy services. From time to time, a company needs to evaluate when its time to update their logo and website to ensure they are effectively connecting with their customers and dealing with the competitive environment. Graphique Couture LLC helps companies navigate these issues using its evaluation model and extensive research. We draw up recommendations and then we help the company or individual implement the recommendations.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business?
Graphique Couture relies almost entirely on local businesses to support our service offerings. Some of the businesses we work closely with are High Ridge Printing and Copy Center, Banksville Designer Fabrics, and Central Paper.
