Art Workshop for Seniors on Monday, June 17 from 9:30 – 11:30 am at the Bruce Museum
In this new program geared to adults over the age of 55, the Bruce Museum is pleased to present a series of painting workshops paired with gallery discussions to complement the Summer with the Averys [Milton | Sally | March] exhibition. Led by Dr. Louise Flax, a noted teaching and practicing artist, the first workshop will begin with an in-gallery contour drawing inspired by the Averys’ sketchbooks. The painting workshop will focus on using different types of lines to activate your watercolor practice.
There is a $25 charge for each workshop for nonmembers, $20 for members. Materials will be provided; light refreshments will be served.
