You're IT Compco!
3 questions with Patrick Foti, owner of Compco
Why did you start your business?
My brother and I started the business in 2015, as most would guess…to make money! And have fun doing it! We saw an opportunity in purchasing broken computers, repairing them and reselling them online. We started with one, then ten, and next thing we knew we were getting pallets shipped to us. We had another friend come on board as a partner and set out on our own to downtown Stamford. Compco has now been in business for four years, and we started a shop where we continue to sell online, but also cater to our local community offering IT services and break-fix repair.
Finish this sentence in regard to your business. “I wish I could…”
I wish I could grow our business to be a nationwide staple, as a one-stop-tech shop, that caters to businesses and consumers alike. As we continue to perfect our processes, we are hoping to capture the attention of investors who share the same belief in our company. Once we can capture the proper funding we can begin to take that next step. For now, we will just continue to get better and grow every day little by little.
What is your best selling product/service?
We offer top-rated computer and smartphone repairs by certified technicians. Our refurbished computers are always selling well. They undergo extensive quality control and are back by our 90-day warranty.
