You're IT Lavan Financial Group!

Three questions with Andrea Sotgiu, founder of Lavan Financial Group.

Why did you start your business?

I worked on Wall Street for decades, met some great, and not so great people, made some friends, had some great and not so great experiences, was thankful for all the opportunities, but never truly felt fulfilled. I think work is too much of a persons’ time for it to be unfulfilling, but the balance between paying the bills and pursuing a passion is obviously skewed in favor of economics for most people. I wanted to help re-address that in any way I could, so ready to take a leap of faith and follow my entrepreneurial journey, with the support of the most wonderful wife-  I jumped. The past 6 years have been both among the hardest but most satisfying of my career.

Over time we have developed a platform to help companies reach peak performance, achieved through improved organizational health - a scalable way to grow jobs, enrich communities and help people become more fulfilled. Ultimately business owners and leadership teams make this happen, we are a catalyst in the process. While we help organizations across all industries and sizes we recognize the bulk of job creation in the US comes from small businesses contributing to approximately 60 percent of the net new jobs. Small firms in the 20-499, employee category typically lead job creation.

OUR VISION

Encourage leaders.

Extract value.

Enrich communities.

We work relentlessly to build stronger companies, led by bold leaders, for better communities.

How do we achieve this? By diagnosing problems, creating strategies, and guiding companies to optimum health. Because healthy organizations get smarter and outperform their competitors as their people are engaged and perform.

Finish this sentence in regard to your business. "I wish I could…"

Share the power of organizational health and the clear benefits with all companies.

Great businesses clearly articulate their vision, and what they're trying to achieve, but their strategy doesn’t typically fail in a formulation, it fails most often through implementation, which is people's performance. Actively disengaged employees in the U.S. cost businesses $483 billion to $605 billion each year in lost productivity. Besides the lost productivity that’s a lot of unhappy people. Unfulfilled, disengaged, miss managed people. As the leadership goes so goes the business. “Organizational Health is how most successful companies develop and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage - It is a value multiplier”

What is your best selling product/service?

Strategic Management Services. We typically begin the process with an organizational diagnostic, which is akin to a body scan for a business. This is a non-invasive, free, and insightful place to start understanding your business more deeply and move towards defining a plan.

‍Armed with a clearer understanding of a business and how it operates, we then partner to evaluate, define, and implement the right strategies to fit goals. Generally, we work with clients on one of three outcomes: growth, equity value, or improving operational effectiveness. What is fundamental to this and any project is executed, and human capital performance goes hand in glove. 80% of strategies fail to achieve their objective. Results Operating System Efficacy (ROSE℠) is a way of operating to close the performance gaps by achieving cohesion across the entire business, combating performance leakage and accelerating value.
