Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Dregon Design!

Three questions with Andre d'Esterno, founder of Dregon Design.

Why did you start your business?

I'm a freelance designer and I started Dregon Design after college to help other small businesses stand out from the crowd and look professional.  We offer high-quality, unique, and custom graphics, from logos, packaging, advertising to billboards and apparel.

What is your best-selling product/service?

The best selling product/service are the logos. As a fontographer, inspired by famous designers like Paul Rand and Milton Glaser, I strive to offer memorable, iconic logos that retain an everlasting image. They say a picture is worth a thousand words but our logos are more than words, but with feeling too!

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

Local Businesses such as Minute Man Press, HJ Hoffman screen printing in Norwalk, and a handful of terrific freelance photographers, videographers, and music producers around the Fairfield county area.
