Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT Vista Stone!

Three questions with Nick De Giorgio, President of Vista Stone.

Why did you start your business?

We started our business in Stamford CT because for years it has been a go-to destination for our families to get together in a local eatery, enjoy the city vibes, and visit some neat local businesses. So our love of the area made us feel at home in Stamford and it felt right to open our new business here.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Our best selling service is our customer service! The experience we provide along with producing and installing marble and granite countertops, floors, and walls add an artistic improvement within the home space.

How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?

Since we are brand new in the space and in the area, our patronage of local businesses is gradually increasing. Our Neighbor Business Williams Auto mechanic has been great to us and Servicing our fleet. I highly recommend them located at 134 Jefferson St, Stamford CT.
