Three questions with Elvisa Sabovic, owner of KATHARI.
Why did you start your business?
I started KATHARI because I've always had such a passion for skincare, it wasn't until a few years ago that I got into plant-based vegan skincare. The amazing benefits of plant-based ingredients on your skin, and the environment are amazing. It was back in 2019 when I started researching more about the products and testing out a bunch of different items. My goal is to have a clean skincare brand which is why I started KATHARI (which is the Greek word for clean). Our products are nontoxic, eco-friendly packaging and all-around clean.
What is your best-selling product or service?
The best selling product is our Hydrating Face Moisturizer. With its powerful hydrating ingredients of hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, it keeps our lovely customers coming back.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
We love supporting other small businesses, we are currently featured in Fairfield County Shops.
Have you "reimagined" for your small business?
I have dreams that one-day KATHARI will be in Target, Ulta or even Sephora, A girl can dream!
