Join us as we celebrate our reopening season with two exhibitions on view now to June 16, 2022.
The New Members group exhibit
New Members Show: Best in Show will feature the best work of our new members created last year. We look forward to meeting them in person and seeing their work.
The Promise of Sweetness is a solo exhibition by Nadia Martinez. In this body of work, by using sugar and its derivates as her material, Nadia surrenders control. She embraces process as a new aesthetic form, creating the conditions for contemplation, discovery, and generosity. At the same time, she questions the idea of "instant gratification" by revisiting a sweet and happy memory instead of relying on contemporary narratives promoted by capitalism. Nadia shares a happy memory with the public and invites viewers to do the same.
