Why Small Businesses Matter

Shop small, do big things for your community

Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!

You're IT All Sett Up!

Three questions with Devon Settembrini, founder of All Sett Up.

Why did you start your business?

After planning my wedding back in 2019, I became sad at the realization that I would never plan a wedding again. It had been such a fun time for me. I also kept hearing how much everyone else HATED planning their weddings. At the time I had 10 years of event planning experience under my belt and I wasn't feeling fulfilled at my current job, so I started thinking why not?

Why not take a risk on something I was so passionate about, that brought me joy? Why not be a part of something that would be bringing my clients joy? The more I thought about it, the more I wanted to make the wedding planning and design process fun for couples everywhere.

What is your best-selling product/service?

Full wedding or event planning.

Have you "reimagined" your small business?

Yes, once I started gaining momentum I knew it was time to reimagine what my business was and where it was going. When I started I was mainly offering wedding rentals of bespoke items, but the more I got into it the more I knew that planning and design were where my strengths were and where I could offer my clients my best work!
