Stratford High Athletes Compete for Hood Collegiate Scholarship

Two Stratford High student athletes, Harrison Brooks and Nicholas Dilulio, are eligible to receive some college scholarships with a little help from the community. The dairy company, Hood, proudly announced a competition for 10 New England students to win $5.000 students in their Sportsmanship Scholarship program. Athletic, academic, and community excellence were required for scholarship eligibility. Hood sought high school students who participated in a varsity sport and who will be furthering their education by attending a two-or four-year accredited college or university in the fall of 2014. Students must also have earned a cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher and performed volunteer work in the community to be eligible.

Those eligible compete for the most number of votes amongst their fellow competitors through the Hood Sportsmanship Scholarship Program website listed below or their Facebook page www.facebook.com/hphood between March 17 to April 18.  Harrison and Nichoals can use our support, and congratulations for making it this far!
