Dr.Joseph Fulton is Chief of Vascular Surgery at MidHudson Regional Hospital and Assistant Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College. He will explain the perils, the joy , and the rewards of reaching out to help others.

Malawi is located in south east Africa. The average life expectancy in a population  of eighteen million people is fifty years old. There are twenty fiive surgeons, mostly foreign, that serve the entire country.  Ten percent of that population is infected with HIV.
