Yonkers resident, Jessica Jenkins, has written an autobiography. Her book details repetitive sexual abuse she experienced beginning from age four and continuing into her late teens.
But beyond the autobiographical format lies a cautionary tale She advises victims to not remain silent. Their power is in the spoken word. That word is a combination of alerting authorities and expressing the trauma in writing.
