FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Yonkers Police investigate Riverdale Avenue shooting incident
 
PRESS RELEASE: Yonkers Police Officers and Detectives are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the area of 83 Riverdale Avenue on September 14, 2021, at approximately 10:26 PM. 
 
YONKERS: Preliminary investigation has yielded that at least one suspect fired several gunshots in the direction of a group of people; two gunshot victims responded to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect(s) fled the area.
 
Investigators are actively pursuing all leads to identify the perpetrators and effect arrests.
Additional information may be released as it becomes available.
