Yonkers, NY – Just after 2:00 AM on April 12, 2023, members of the Yonkers Police Department discovered an unconscious male inside of the parking garage at 25 Prospect Street.
Officers attempted to render aid, but the male was unfortunately pronounced deceased by EMS on the scene. The area was cordoned off as units initiated a criminal investigation.
Detectives from the Major Case Squad, Crime Scene Unit, and Digital Forensics Unit are currently continuing that investigation. The early stages of this investigation have revealed that the victim sustained several stab wounds.
At this time, the victim’s information is not being released, and no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing and more information may be released as it becomes available.
