The Rowan Center and Westport Town Hall to Host Proclamation Day for Sexual Assault Awareness Month
The Rowan Center, in collaboration with Westport First Selectwoman Jennifer Tooker, will host Proclamation Day 2025 at Westport Town Hall to formally recognize April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).
The event will take place on Tuesday, April 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, CT.
This community gathering will emphasize ongoing efforts to support survivors of sexual violence and raise awareness about prevention and response initiatives in Lower Fairfield County. During the event, First Selectwoman Tooker will issue an official proclamation designating April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month in Westport.
