On Thursday, Jan. 17, the Westport Inn will hold a Wine, Wisdom, and Women gathering from 5:30-8:30 p.m.,, produced by Connections, LLC. The evening offers fabulous wine, gourmet light fare, and wisdom for women, with presentations from speakers sure to inspire, inform, and make you laugh. Speakers include Lee Woodruff, author of "In an Instant" and "Those We Love Most," and Dr. Emre Seli of The Yale Fertility Center and Reproductive Endocrinology in Westport, who will speak on delaying pregnancy and other women's health issues. The presentations will commence with words of welcome by Dr. Paul Epstein.
A portion of the proceeds will support the Bob Woodruff Foundation and Stand for the Troops.
The Westport Inn is offering a special rate on Jan. 17 to attendees who want to make a night of it: $89 for standard rooms and $139 for deluxe rooms.
