JR Buchbinder, Lexus of Westport’s General Manager, on Saturday presented a Title Sponsorship check to Tracy Flood, President of CLASP Homes. He told Ms. Flood, “We are pleased to join with CLASP to once again make the Taste of Westport a huge success.”
Taste of Westport is a foodie’s delight - an evening to enjoy featured dishes from the menus of many of the areas outstanding restaurants, along with a select mix of wine, beer and spirits.
Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on silent auction items running the gamut from fun NYC outings, sporting event tickets, and lots of local dining experiences. They can also register for the Lexus of Westport iPad drawing. The event will be held on Thursday, May 2 from 6-9 p.m. at the newly renovated Westport Inn, located at 1595 Post Rd. E in Westport.
Of the new team at Lexus of Westport, Buchbinder said, “Our management team is new to Westport but long accustomed to supporting the communities we are a part of. We are pleased to support CLASP’s work, and we look forward to enjoying the evening of fine food and drink.”

This year’s Taste will play host to some of Westport’s favorite restauarnts, including Matsu Sushi, Blue Lemon, Dressing Room, and DaPietro’s and will be joined by newcomers Moja, Aux Delices, Pane e Bene, Craft Butchery, and the Westport Inn’s own Red Hen. Westport Aquaculture will be serving up their delicious clams and oysters.
Guests may also enjoy Beaver Beer, wine from Greens Farms Spirits and Black Bear Wines, and a new treat, Onyx Moonshine.
Michele’s Pies will offer up sweets, and Greenwich Staffing its rich cappuccino.
