The March of Dimes Connecticut Chapter is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Hoffmann has been named Division Director for Fairfield County. Hoffmann began December 15th and will lead local program, fundraising, special events, and volunteer efforts throughout Fairfield County.
Hoffmann brings a successful corporate background, having worked in management roles in Fortune 500 corporations such as Disney, ABC Networks, Kraft/Nabisco Brands, CBS Networks & Unilever, leading successful marketing and sales initiatives, partnering with non-profits to lead fundraising campaigns, as well as developing event and cause marketing programs.
“We are so pleased to welcome Liz to the March of Dimes family and look forward to growing our local partnerships as we work with together with families, hospitals and corporations within Fairfield County for stronger, healthier babies,” said Deb Fafard, State Director of the March of Dimes Connecticut Chapter.A long-time resident of Fairfield, Hoffmann was also elected to the Fairfield RTM (2009 – 2011, District 8) and was also appointed to, and served on, the Town Public Works Committee and FairTV Commission. She is also a writer and has had articles on the I Love Fairfield County website, Event Managers Blog, the Motley Fool, and was an acclaimed blogger on Huffington Post and Patch editions throughout Fairfield County. She has a BA from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia, and she received full-academic scholarships to attend both.
