This is Your Life with Longtime Westport Resident Dr. Judith Hamer

Join us on Friday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 7 pm, when Dr. Judith Hamer, a longtime Westport resident, will share her story as an African American woman living in Westport in the 1970s and 1980s through The Legacy Project USA, “This Is Your Life” program. The program highlights compelling life stories of seniors who wish to share their histories with others. 

Dr. Hamer is a contributor of both history and artifacts to the current WHS exhibit Remembered: The History of African Americans in Westport focusing on the African-American history in Fairfield County. The program will be moderated by Rozanne Gates and the public is invited to hear an extraordinary story of an extraordinary woman.

Online pre-registration: $8 for members, $12 for non-members. At the door $10 suggested admission for members, $15 for non-members. No charge for children 12 and under.
