Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Emile Educational Consulting!
Three questions with Emile Educational Consulting's Director and Founder, Elaine Morales-Thomason.
Why did you start your business?
I started my business to empower adolescents and young adults to make choices that will help them become resilient and live their best lives. I provide a continuum of care along an educational lifespan that includes: consultation, educational planning, college and secondary school advising, and therapeutic/clinical placements.
What is your best selling product/service?
My best selling service is tied between consultation for placements (college, traditional schools, and therapeutic programs) and consultation for long-term educational planning.
I use and refer to several local businesses to support the services I offer my clients. These include: therapists, psychiatrists, medical doctors, clinical psychologists, attorneys, behaviorists, and private schools.
