Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Bare A Skincare Experience!
Three questions with Elizabeth McKay, founder of Bare A Skincare Experience.
Why did you start your business?
I started my business because I wanted to make a space for people to come, enjoy themselves in a private one-on-one setting, and leave feeling great. I wanted to be able to give my clients the 5-star treatment they deserve from the time they walk in until after they leave.
What is your best-selling product/service?
My best-selling service(s) would be a lash lift and tint and a brow lamination, tint, and clean-up. The eye area really frames the face so when the area is enhanced you look more awake, brighter, more youthful and there is less day to day maintenance
I love the whole girl empowerment movement and I love teaming up with other local female businesses and groups. I partnered with Fairfield Moms Cooperative where all members get a discount, I refer clients to other businesses and they do the same for me like DPL Esthetics for Botox, spray tans with Bronzed By Coy, Lee Nova Hair for extensions, or Lucky 13 for color.
Elizabeth would like to nominate MillieAugustMinis to be featured next!
