Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Studio Café!
Three questions with Nicolle N. from Studio Café.
Why did you start your business?
We opened Studio Café to demonstrate that well-done hospitality doesn’t only happen at white-glove five-star restaurants. The perfect breakfast and lunch place is thoughtfully designed and serves dozens of daytime beverages, sandwiches and egg dishes, pastries, and desserts. And sometimes you escape there alone to spend an hour sipping your macchiato and pecking at your quiche.
You can show up in leggings or a little black dress and it’s right. You can want a latte and croissant to go to or brunch for five with fresh juice, and sparkling water, share plates, have dessert, and it’s the right place.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Lattes are the best selling and our regulars call it “the best coffee in town”.
Have you "reimagined" your small business?
