The Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Westport (“UU Westport”) is pleased to welcome the Rev. Alan Taylor to serve as its Transitional Minister. In a new model of ministerial service, Rev. Alan will serve the congregation both from the Westport campus and from Oak Park, IL (a suburb of Chicago) where he and his family live permanently.
Rev. Alan will preach 3 Sundays out of 4; two in person and 1 via virtual broadcast. He is responsible for the regular duties of a senior minister, which he will carry out both in person in Westport and virtually via email, ZOOM and phone from his home office in Oak Park. Rev Alan will serve in partnered ministry with UU Westport’s long-standing and much-loved Minister of Music, the Rev. Ed Thompson.
