Join us for the 12th Annual Food Tasting and Retail Experience in Saugatuck, a cherished tradition celebrating the vibrant local community. This year’s event, taking place on Saturday, September 7, promises an afternoon of family-friendly fun, live music, and a taste of what Saugatuck has to offer. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the event will be rescheduled to September 14.
Since its inception in 2011, this annual festival has become a staple of the Saugatuck experience. For its twelfth year, over four dozen local restaurants, shops, and galleries will open their doors to invite visitors for a delightful sampling of their offerings. Attendees can wander the charming streets of Saugatuck Center, exploring a variety of culinary delights and unique merchandise from the area's finest establishments.
The event features an array of activities for the whole family. Enjoy performances by seven bands while strolling along the picturesque boardwalk overlooking the river. For those looking to dance, there will be live dance demonstrations. Kids will be entertained with attractions such as the Fire Department’s antique fire engine, a fire safety trailer, four different bouncy houses, a balloon bender, and a face painter.
For those seeking a refreshing drink, specialty beverages will be available inside most participating restaurants, or visitors can visit the two outdoor beer gardens for beer or wine.
Tickets are priced at $15 for adults and $5 for children aged 5-12. They will be available for purchase on-site starting at 1:45 PM, with payment accepted by cash or credit card only.
