UPDATE: Westport Police arrived on the scene of this serious motor vehicle crash and determined that a dirt bike traveling southbound on Old Hill Road and a fully loaded dump truck traveling northbound on Old Hill Road collided just south of Partrick Road as each operator negotiated a sharp corner. The operator of the dirt bike sustained fatal injuries and was deceased upon arrival of responding officers. The operator of the dump truck attempted to avoid the collision and veered off the road, collided with several trees, and rolled on its side, dumping all of the contents of the dump truck. The operator of the truck was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The deceased operator of the dirt bike has been identified as Maximilien Harper, 18, of Westport, CT. The crash remains under investigation by the Westport Police Detective Bureau and Westport Police Accident investigation Team with the assistance of Fairfield Police Accident Investigation Team.
