Westport, CT - SIP & SAVOR 2018, a wine tasting fundraiser event, will be held on Friday, October 26, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at The Westport Woman's Club (44 Imperial Avenue, Westport, CT). A wide variety of wines, provided by Castle Wine & Spirits, will be available for tasting, as well as an array of seasonal hors d’oeuvres by Westport’s Gruel Britannia. Live music and prize drawings will be part of this festive evening as well. Profits from the evening will benefit both need-based college scholarships for high school seniors, as well as community grants to Fairfield County non-profit organizations. A percentage of all SIP & SAVOR wine orders placed that evening will be donated by Castle Wine to the WWC fundraising effort.
Event Co-Chairs Christina McVaney and Gloria Smithson, suggest guests bring their shopping lists and order needed wines for Thanksgiving, December holiday events, hostess gifts and gift giving, as all SIP & SAVOR wine orders will support WWC charitable causes.
The Westport Woman’s Club, organized in 1907, is a non-profit philanthropic organization dedicated to volunteerism and the raising of funds in support of the educational, charitable, cultural and public health services in Westport and surrounding towns.
