Stamford's Saint Joseph Parenting Center Fall Benefit Dinner Goes Virtual, Live Stream Features Entertainment, Auction

Saint Joseph Parenting Center, a Stamford-based nonprofit that embraces a vision that all children live in a world free of abuse and neglect and works tirelessly to make this a reality, will host their annual dinner virtually on Thursday, October 29 from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.

The fundraising event, which features a live auction, performance by vocalist Bryan Bautista, and dinner-to-go by Gallo, will honor Ridgefield residents Bill and Barbara Hecht with the "Imagine" award. Purchase tickets to live stream the event, or make a donation here.

Barbara and Bill have been steadfast supporters of Saint Joseph's Parenting Center since its inception in 2010. Barbara began serving as a class facilitator the very first day the Center opened and also dedicates her time as a curriculum advisor. Bill is a practicing attorney who currently volunteers as a Free Dispute Arbitrator for the Supreme Court, State of New York Ninth District.

Established in 2010, SJPC is a nonsectarian community and resource center for parents. SJPC offers 28 different parenting classes and a fatherhood program, individual case management along with a food pantry, hot meals, and incentives for attendance.

Saint Joseph Parenting Center’s goal is to equip parents through education to change unhealthy parenting patterns and to foster healthy ones in an effort to decrease the incidence of child abuse and neglect. SJPC will provide these parents of children, from birth to age twelve, with the knowledge and tools to be more caring and productive people, parents and members of society.
