Westport Wine Event Provides Tasting for a Cause, Tickets Now On Sale!

This spring, Westport and other area residents can sip, shop and socialize at an exclusive, local event to help support Connecticut children fighting cancer. Sunset Wine Party is hosting this inaugural Westport event - a festive, upscale wine-tasting evening at the Inn at Longshore on March 19^th, 2023, with all net proceeds benefiting Berni & Murcer, a local non-profit which supports area children on a cancer journey.

The event offers ticketed guests an opportunity to learn about and taste an amazing selection of over 70 wines, in the grand wine-tasting room, all curated by Ancona's Wines & Liquors.  A decorative Rosé Room will provide an abundance of pink pourings, and a Wines by the Glass Bar will offer those who want a full glass of red, white or rosé, the opportunity to sip and chill with additional wine choices.  Knowledgeable wine experts will be on hand to explain the subtleties and vintage of the various wine selections.

Guests may also indulge in decadent, gourmet grazing tables featuring charcuterie, organic vegetables, fresh and dried fruits, and artisanal breads and enjoy great DJ music. In addition, reservations for several VIP private rooms will be available to those who want to mingle exclusively with their friends. Those who opt to purchase full bottles at Ancona’s Wine Order Table can have them delivered right to their home after the event.

Sunset Wine Party was created by Connecticut-based Paula Alonso, who wanted to share her passion for wine and bringing people together while raising money for important local causes.
