Star 99.9-morning show, The Anna and Raven Show, will hold its annual Dance-A-Thon this Saturday at The SoNo Collection in Norwalk. Last year the event raised over $12,000 for the Darien based Tiny Miracles Foundation. This group provides support to families with premature babies.
Fourteen dance troupes representing Fairfield and New Haven Counties spent the last few weeks fundraising and will now perform in front of an audience. All types of dances will be represented ranging from jazz, tap, contemporary, acrobatics, and Broadway.
“Having a premature baby is not something that any parent plans for, and Tiny Miracles is an incredible organization that assists these families every step of the way. After watching and experiencing their work in my own family, we wanted to create an event that not only helped raise funds for their much-needed work, but also have it be a celebration,” said Anna. “Many of the dancers you’ll see were also premature babies and watching them thrive gives hope to every parent.”
