Celebrate President's Day with renowned reenactor George Baker as he presents a witty performance from the perspective of President John Adams on Wednesday, February 11, at 7 pm in the Westport Library’s McManus Room. His presentation will include conversations with Adams's wife, Abigail, about how she defied the conventions of the time and, with her financial skills and insights, made the Adams family prosperous.
In 2008, Baker created a one-man show to represent the humor and patriotism of President John Adams. Since then, his performances have taken place across the United States at venues large and small.
