WHS Presents On the Front Veterans' Reflections on War, Feb. 4

Westport, CT - Join Westport Historical Society for a panel discussion regarding veterans reflections on their own experiences of war and how the “great war” altered their world on Sunday, February 4 at 3 pm.

In collaboration with the Westport Library’s "WestportREADS" program, WHS will moderate an open dialogue about war and the impacts on the daily lives of people dealing with the aftermath of the first World War, as well as the building tension of the Second World War. Veterans from various backgrounds will discuss their experiences and their thoughts on the conflicts that still arise today. Some of the panelists include veterans from the Vietnam Era, the cold war and Afghanistan.
