Fresh from selling-out performances across the globe as part of the Broadway show The Illusionists, The Clairvoyants aka Thommy Ten & Amélie van Tass, World Champions of Mindreading are gearing to bring their mentalism and mind-blowing illusions to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, June 8th at 7:30pm. The duo knocked the socks off Simon Cowell and fellow judges Heidi Klum, Mel B, and Howie Mandel in the 11th season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent. After four months, six different performances and over 100.000 contestants, America voted them second place.
Next week, Amélie and Thommy bring their extrasensory perception to the Playhouse stage.
While Amélie and Thommy have prepared a performance sure to dazzle Playhouse attendees, Amélie says that what the audience brings to the show - both mentally and physically, sets the stage for thought-provoking and unforgettable moments. “The acts arise from the people,” says Amélie. “We take everyday phenomenon to the next level,” she explains.
Both born and raised in Austria, soon after Thommy and Amélie met, Amélie says they discovered they were born in the same hospital. Their connection was immediate and extraordinary. Amélie admits, “I found my second half”.
Perhaps it’s their chemistry that facilitates the magic. “With our connection, we can reach impossible things,” she says.
Meet Thommy and Amélie at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, June 8th at 7:30pm for a night of trickery, illusion, and fun!
