As part of our Spooktober month-long celebration, WHS proudly presents the return of its annual lantern tour illuminating Westport’s past.
Meet us at Willowbrook Cemetery, 395 Main Street, Westport on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 5 pm. The tour is an hour long. Creep through the cemetery with your lantern and guide to discover notable departed Westport residents. Free Halloween refreshments and the book “Buried in Our Past” will be available for purchase prior to the tour at the front entrance. Costumes are encouraged!
Parking will be in the back lot of the cemetery, enter through the main entrance and follow the parking guides. Handicapped guest may be dropped off at the main entrance of the cemetery. Please be aware this walking tour covers uneven terrain and is dimly light. Wear comfortable shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
Online pre-registration $8 for members, $12 for non-members. At the door $10 suggested admission for members, $15 for non-members. $5 for student with ID. No charge for children 5 and under. In the event you must cancel, we will consider your purchase a donation and will happily issue you a donation receipt.
