Turkey Walk and Trot with Jo DeBone at Earthplace on Sunday, November 24th, 2:30pm — 4:00pm
Bundle up and bring a camera as we go in search of turkeys along the trails with our annual Turkey Walk and Trot. Local expert Jo Debone will present a brief history of turkeys prior to the walk - including discussion of their diet, lifespan and characteristics. To further familiarize ourselves with this great animal, we’ll take a look at some turkey feathers, tails, feet, and a beak and listen to a wild turkey call.
