Westport, CT - Interested in learning the historic craft of brewing beer? Join the Westport Historical Society for a three-part series beginning March 30 where you will learn the basics of brewing with Full Moon Brewing brewer TJ Elgin as he leads the group through the brewing process. Hear more about the history of beer from the ancient Egyptians to medieval brewers (who happened to be predominately women!). Learn the basics of brewing, before tasting a hoppy creation in session one.
Series Dates include... March 30th – Session One: Beer 101 and Tasting; June 8th – Session Two: Summer Seasonal Beers and Tasting; November 9th – Session Three: Stout Season 101
First event: March 30, Noon – 5pm
